Team management is a paid plan feature. Workspaces on the free plan are personal-only — inviting members, roles, and shared team workspaces require upgrading to a paid plan.
Workspaces
- Personal workspace — created automatically when you sign up. You are always the Admin of your own personal workspace, and it stays on the free plan with its default credit allocation.
- Team workspace — created when a personal workspace is upgraded to a paid plan; the user who upgrades becomes that team workspace’s Admin. A user can be a Member of any number of team workspaces, joined by invite or by an approved join request.
- Switching workspaces — use the workspace switcher to move between your personal workspace and any team workspace(s) you belong to. API keys, credits, and permissions are all scoped to whichever workspace is active.
Roles and permissions
Each team workspace supports two roles:Inviting team members
Admins can invite new members from Workspace Settings:- Open Invite Member and provide the invitee’s email address and a role (Admin or Member).
- The invitation appears under Pending Invites, alongside the role assigned and when it was sent.
- Admins can resend or revoke a pending invite at any time; expired invitations are shown as such.
- Once accepted, the member appears under Active Members, where Admins can change their role or remove them from the workspace.
Joining a team
By requesting to join:- During sign-up, if your email domain matches one or more existing workspaces, you’re shown a list of the most recently created workspaces for that domain.
- You can request to join one of the listed workspaces.
- Your personal workspace is created and usable immediately, regardless of the request’s status.
- The request shows as pending until a team Admin approves or declines it.
- Once approved, the team workspace becomes your default; you retain access to your personal workspace via the switcher.
Leaving a team
- Any Member can leave a team workspace at any time.
- An Admin must assign another Admin before they can leave, if they’re the only Admin.
- If you’re the last remaining member of a team workspace, leaving gives you the option to delete the workspace.
Credits
Credits are assigned per workspace, not per user, and shared by everyone in that workspace:- Personal workspace — 1,000 credits by default, on the free plan.
- Team workspace — credits determined by the team’s subscription tier.
